For this week's blog, I will write about how I'm doing on my second quarter project. I believe I am on
schedule, and am doing fairly well thanks to my partner Haven, who’s teaching me a lot. Haven and I are doing a
project on our “CKTV Media Class.”
I would say that Haven and I are on schedule because we have completed most of our interviews, and we’re half way with our transcribing, which is when you type everything the person you interviewed said, word for word.
We are also getting B-roll which is when you get some shots of things for your story, and play it when someone is talking in the back ground. So far, we have four interviews but we need to get a few more. We interviewed Mr. Matsunaga, and three current media students; Brandon, Leanna, and Lilly.
We got some B-roll of the Street Fair, students editing their interviews, and radios, calling people
on the phone; people doing the morning announcements, recording their radios, doing their work, and students doing stories for the STN challenge. We also got B-roll of the awards we got. Haven and I still need to get B-roll of the car wash on Sunday and interview a few more people there.
I couldn’t have gotten this far without the guidance of Haven and M. Matsunaga. I hope you liked my blog and see you at the car wash!
