All aboard the Polar Express! For this week’s blog, I will write about my favorite Christmas movie. I have many other favorite movies such as Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Frost the Snowman, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Santa Paws, Elf, A Christmas Carol, and much more. But, my most favorite Christmas movie is “The Polar Express.” I watched this movie almost every year.
The Polar Express is about a boy who doesn’t believe in Santa, but on Christmas Eve, a big, magical train called the Polar Express comes up in front of the boy’s house. There are many children in their PJ’s on the train. They all believe in Santa except for the boy. Later that night, the Polar Express gets to its final destination, the North Pole. The boy and two of his friends discover Santa’s work shop and Santa himself. Now the boy really believes in Santa.
One reason why I like this movie is because when the snow is falling and the kids are wearing PJ’s, it makes me feel warm and cozy, like how it feels when it’s raining outside and you’re inside watching TV!
Another reason why I like this movie is because the kids stick together. Both the boy who doesn’t believe in Santa and another girl tries to comfort another boy who says that Christmas doesn’t work out for him. All three children stick together while discovering Santa’s workshop.
The last reason why I like this movie is because it teaches you how to believe in Christmas and enjoy it! In the movie, the main boy didn’t believe in Santa or Christmas, so he couldn’t see Santa or hear the sleigh bells on the reindeers. Towards the end, a sleigh bell landed in front of him, he picked it up and said “I BELIEVE,” because he saw Santa and heard the beautiful sound of the sleigh bells. Can you imagine a world without Christmas? I couldn’t imagine a world without it!
I hope you liked my blog and read more. Until next time, good bye and have a Happy Holidays!
